ANJA, EPIDEMIOLOGIST

From Belgrade to Nancy, Anja has traveled across Europe to study in France. Passionate aboutscience, this young Serbian first arrived in Strasbourg, where she earned a Bachelor of Science incellular and molecular biology, followed by a Master 1 in public health and now a Master 2 inepidemiology. Anja chose to study epidemiology because it helps her to understand the impact of infectiousdiseases, chronic and mental illness, and socioeconomic inequalities on the overall health of thepopulation. Anja is planning for a career in research, hoping to eventually become a professor and researcher.
